DXV brand by American Standard deals with luxury bathroom and kitchen accessories. This year these decorative faucets appeared in design market in America.
Instead of traditional form, the plumbing manufacturer uses latticework patterns, cutouts and layered metal structure.
The products are made using a 3D printing technique: computer-guided laser beam using high heat and pressure. This results in one layer of the faucet. The process is repeated until the entire piece is complete. Then it is followed hand sanding and polishing.
It takes 24 hours to produce one. That is why these new DXV faucets will be available only through exclusive showrooms. The estimated retail price will be somewhere between $12,000 - $20,000.
